Regenerate Game Jam, a public online event where creativity, fun, and sustainable farming practices collide!

A game jam is a gathering of game developers, artists, and enthusiasts who come together to create video games within a limited time frame, usually around a specific theme. It is an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and experiment with new ideas in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Regenerate Game Jam challenges you to create an engaging game in just 5 days, with one major requirement: your game must feature organic or regenerative farming practices. Show us how innovative agriculture can save our planet, support local communities, and create a greener future for all!

We especially encourage Egg Academy students to participate in this event. We will help facilitate and support your game creation process throughout the week. Kane & Juni will provide guidance and resources to help you bring your eco-friendly game ideas to life, and may even make a game ourselves.

This event will be facilitated online but we are looking into the possibility of having a physical space in Christchurch so that we can connect in person while creating games.

Ranking will be open from 24th-26th June. Winners will be announced on the 27th June
